Move
Movement is essential for women’s health, and a variety of activities can offer unique benefits. Cardiovascular exercises like brisk walking, cycling, and swimming support heart health and boost endurance. Strength training, including bodyweight exercises or resistance workouts, helps maintain bone density and muscle mass—crucial for women as they age. Flexibility practices such as yoga and Pilates improve mobility, reduce the risk of injury, and support mental well-being. Mind-body activities, including tai chi and gentle stretching, can ease stress and enhance balance. By incorporating different types of movement, women can enjoy comprehensive health benefits for body and mind.
